I work with adults and teens 16+. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I work with clients of all races, ethnicities, and cultural/spiritual identities. My practice only offers individual therapy at this time.
I love helping all kinds of people, but these are some areas I have a special interest in:
I teach coping skills to calm the brain and body, which can help decrease anxious thoughts & feelings. We'll reframe negative self-talk to build confidence, reduce perfectionism, and improve self-worth. By improving your relationship with yourself, you improve your relationship with the world around you.
I support therapists and other helping professionals to practice self-care, manage & prevent burnout, address personal issues, and improve work-life balance. I can also help with adjusting to this field and navigating workplace issues. No matter what, it's crucial to care for yourself while taking care of others.
I empower my clients to set boundaries at work, with family, or in other areas. You may also need to create boundaries with yourself, or heal from difficult/unhealthy past relationships. We'll work on breaking patterns, assertive communication, unlearning people-pleasing habits, and setting limits to protect your emotional health. Be ready to get comfortable with the uncomfortable!
I also help my clients to heal from various types of trauma, including childhood physical/emotional abuse, sexual assault, betrayal trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, etc.
I help highly successful individuals manage challenges that come with work, wealth, and publicity. Focus areas include relationship issues, family dynamics, isolation, stress, work-life balance, and more. Whether this is a new phase of life for you or an inherited one, it can be tough to navigate. I’ll take the time to understand you and your lifestyle to provide the support you need.
I also work individually with spouses/partners of high-achievers to cope with the unique challenges that come with such a relationship.
I assist teens & young adults with stress related to academics, adulthood, and change. Focus areas include perfectionism, time management, motivation, identity, decision-making, and life direction. We’ll demystify this time of transition so you can look forward to the next chapter.
