Therapy for Adults with ADHD

If you have (or suspect you have) ADHD, you may struggle with the classic symptoms:

Lack of focus, forgetfulness, procrastination, or trouble starting/finishing tasks. But ADHD in adults can show up in subtle ways too: messy spaces, losing things, or frequent mistakes. Impulsivity may lead you to overcommit, overwork, or be easily distracted.

Even small tasks can feel daunting - although you aren’t quite sure why. And no matter how hard you try to plan or get organized, you always end up flying by the seat of your pants.

You’re doing your best - yet it still feels like it’s not good enough.

These challenges often come with a lot of guilt & shame. It might seem easier to avoid it. But deep down, you know that isn’t sustainable. Therapy offers an understanding space to unpack your struggles and find solutions.

What we’ll work on:

  • Organization & time management
  • Starting and completing tasks
  • Motivation, discipline, & goal-setting
  • Reducing procrastination
  • Creating systems, habits, & routines
  • Managing guilt, shame, & frustration

ADHD looks different for everyone—especially in adults & women.

And it’s often overlooked & misunderstood, which can lead to late diagnosis or lack of treatment. I’m passionate about helping adults with ADHD improve their executive functioning skills & get the support they need.

The results:

As someone who loves organization and planning, my brain is full of creative ways to help people with these skills. But everyone is different, so I take a unique approach to each person. Together, we’ll find your version of productivity and strategies that work for your brain.

It doesn't have to look like someone else's way, or what you've been told it 'should' look like. The key is to work with the brain you have, not against it.
